Georgia Football Weekend 2020 – Week 10
This week is one of the weirdest ones of the 2020 college football season, and that is saying a lot. Georgia and Georgia Tech both had their games postponed this week due to Covid-19 issues. Georgia was slated to play Missouri this week but do to issue with the Tigers and a combination of positive tests. The game is tentatively scheduled to be replayed on December 12th. This is one of 4 games in the SEC that must be moved this week. Georgia Tech and Pitt both had Corona issues and their game also has been moved to 12th of December. We will see if we can keep this season on the tracks. The cases in the general population are surging and it does not seem to be getting better.
The Panthers hit the road this week to take on the Mountaineers of App State. GSU had a good week last week against ULM winning 52-34. This week will be a little different against 5-1 Appalachian State. The Mountaineers are putting up an impressive 473 yards a game with 283 of them on the ground. With Georgia State still struggling on defense allowing an average of 40 points a contest this appears to be an uphill battle. App State is favored by 18 at home but the Panthers offense should keep this game a little closer.
Prediction: App State 37 Georgia State 28

Georgia Southern host the Bobcats of Texas State this week. After 2 successful games the Eagles are looking to make it 3 in a row. The Bobcats are 1-8 and allowing 36 points per game. Texas State will be looking to get off the losing streak they are on but its going to be hard on the road against a Georgia Southern squad that has only lost to ranked opponents this year.
Prediction: Georgia Southern 30 Texas State 14
