Georgia Football Weekend 2019 – Week 5
While Georgia Tech was resting last week, the Bulldogs protected Athens from Notre Dame. With 23-17 victory between the hedges UGA remained #3 in the nation and will take a rest this week before they take a deep dive into the grueling SEC schedule. The Yellowjackets are back this week and will try to pick up a win.
This week the Yellowjackets take a road trip to the City of Brotherly Love. Georgia Tech will face off with the Temple Owls today. This will be a special game for first year Tech Coach Geoff Collins. The previous 2 seasons he was leading Temple and even guided the program to a bowl victory.
Collins will have a lot to deal with on the road again his former team. Temple is 2-1 this season and has a win against Maryland who was ranked at the time. Both teams are looking to rid themselves of the taste of defeat. Tech losing a heartbreaker to the Citadel and Temple got handled by Buffalo the last time they played.
