Georgia Football Weekend 2021 – Rivalry Week
We are here in the final week of the regular season, also known as Rivalry Week. The week were a good season can get washed away by losing to your archrival. This is the week that gets coaches fired. With Georgia and Tech preoccupied with each other we will also take a look at other big games around the country.
There are few rivalries more hateful than the Iron Bowl. Alabama gets one last tune-up before taking on Georgia in the SEC Title game. Auburn has had some ups and downs this year but are hoping they can give Bama its second loss and ruin another potential National Championship season. Auburn is coming off 3 losses in a row while Alabama is on win streak and starting to gel as a team. The Tigers will have to depend on TJ Finely with Bo Nix down. They are playing at home but that’s about the only advantage the Tigers can look towards. Maybe they can catch the Tide looking ahead to Georgia but that might only help them against that 20-point spread. Bama probably still walks away with the game.
Prediction: Alabama 43 Auburn 24

Maybe the most historic clash of rivals in College Football tips off at Noon. Michigan will look to take down Ohio State for the 1st time under John Harbaugh. Harbaugh is 0-6 against the Buckeyes and could see the end of his tenure at U of M if he loses another one. Despite his success at Michigan he is starting to look real John Cooper like.
Winning a lot of games and losing to the hated rival can get out of the game, especially when you are one of the highest paid coaches in college football. This game is strength against strength. The high-powered Ohio State offense against the strong Michigan defense. Michigan does have some playmakers on offense but their Achilles heel since Harbaugh has been there is the Quarterback position. This game has huge playoff implications. The winner just has to win the Big Ten Title game and the loser is out of it.
Prediction: Michigan 24 Ohio State 21

The Bulldogs take the bus ride down to Atlanta this morning to face off against Georgia Tech. Fun fact the color red is banned on the Georgia Tech campus. This game can get intense, but it usually favors UGA. This year will be no different as Tech has been struggling hard lately and Georgia is steamrolling pretty good teams. Even if the Bulldogs are looking ahead to Alabama next week it still won’t be enough for Tech to overcome the best defense in the nation. Expect to see both Georgia QBs Stetson Bennett and JT Daniels to get some snaps today as the team makes sure they are both ready for the Bama game.
Prediction: Georgia 47 Georgia Tech 0
