Georgia Football Weekend 2019 – Week 3

The college football season is off and running. The local Georgia teams have been running as expected. UGA has been running over the competition for an undefeated start, as Kirby Smart is trying to get back to the playoffs. Georgia Tech has started their transition year with 1st year Head Coach Geoff Collins. The Yellowjackets will embrace a completely new offensive system as they try to compete in the ACC this year.

#3 Georgia vs Arkansas State

Today’s game in Athens, will be another tune up for the Bulldogs before they really get into the thick of the season. Arkansas State comes to Georgia with a 1-1 record and is not expected to really challenge the national powerhouse. The current line on the game is Georgia -33. What the Bulldogs will try to do is make sure no one gets hurt before next week’s big match-up with Notre Dame. Even if Georgia is looking ahead, they won’t fall in this one.
Prediction: Georgia 42 Arkansas State 7

Georgia Tech vs The Citadel

Generally, a service academy versus a major conference team is usually isn’t much of a contest. Especially when it’s the Citadel who is not among the 3 major military schools. This week the Bulldogs might has a little bit of a chance. Georgia Tech is still in transition and hasn’t nailed down a definite signal caller. That all being said the Yellowjackets should be able to pull out their 2nd win in a row.
Prediction: Georgia Tech 24 Citadel 14
