Georgia Football Weekend 10/18-10/19 – On The Road Again
There will be no big time football being played in Georgia this weekend. All of the teams are taking to the road with the exception of Georgia Southern that has the week off after a strong win against Idaho last week. The others will try to keep pace in their conference races with stiff test coming from their opposition.
Georgia vs Arkansas
The Bulldogs will spend another week without superstar running back Todd Gurley. While the school and NCAA tries to figure out what’s going on with his autograph that has popped up online. Last week the Dawgs didn’t have an issue of disposing Missouri. This week will not be some easy. Arkansas is not the type of team to constantly shoot themselves in the foot with turnovers. They like Georgia will be looking to establish their strong run games. What the game will come down to are quarterbacks who will be forced to make plays with their arms. Georgia has the more dynamic outside players.
Prediction: Georgia 24 Arkansas 17
Georgia Tech vs North Carolina
The YellowJackets are coming off a disappointing loss to Duke last week. They are still 5-1 and in control of their own destiny in the ACC. They head into North Carolina to play a Tarheel team that pushed Notre Dame to the limit. This game generally results in a lot offense and not too much defense. This season promises to be no different so expect a basketball like score in this one. The Jackets should bounce back after last week’s wake up call.
Prediction: GT 47 UNC 38
