Georgia Football Weekend 10/01/16
Last weekend was a rough for the state’s college football programs. Each of the major 3 teams took some serious losses. This week Georgia Southern will take some time off and be ready for a Wednesday night game next week. Now as for Tech and UGA its back to the grind.
The Yellow Jackets welcome Miami Hurricanes to Bobby Dodd Stadium. Georgia Tech traditionally has trouble with Miami and now the Canes have new familiar friend. Mark Richt will be leading the U into Atlanta and he was won 13 of the last 15 game he has coached against Georgia Tech. Running the ball is supposed to be the strength of Georgia Tech has been a struggle against ACC opponents where they are averaging a sad 2.6 yards per carry. The Canes front line is as impressive as any in the country.
Prediction: Miami 28 Georgia Tech 10
The Bulldogs have a tough task against Volunteers from Tennessee. After a tough loss against the Rebels of Ole Miss the Dawgs will be looking for a bounce back. With the SEC East favorite coming to town this will be a big test for a team that has aspirations of making to Atlanta. The task will be even bigger as the UGA will be without All World running back Nick Chubb.
Prediction: Tennessee 27 UGA 21
