Georgia Football Weekend 10/24/15
This week already is off to a bad start with the Eagles of Georgia Southern getting shot down by Appalachian State on Thursday night. Georgia and Georgia Tech both have tough match ups ahead. The Dawgs got back on the winning trail with an ugly one over Missouri last week. That being said a win is a win and the only statistic that really counts is the final score. Tech kept the mudslide rolling down hill after getting bit by the Pitt Panthers. Let’s see what this Saturday has to offer the big boys in the state.
Georgia Tech vs Florida State
Today down on the Flats its homecoming. Not sure why the powers that be scheduled Florida State for homecoming but here we are. The Noles are undefeated and again this year under Jimbo Fisher. Very different from previous years and not as explosive but way more disciplined. This is a team that runs the ball extremely well and doesn’t commit turnovers the football. The experienced Notre Dame transfer Everett Golson has not thrown an interception since he has arrived in Tallahassee.
At the end of the day Florida State is too fast on all sides of the ball and Georgia Tech apparently is too young for the guys to have grasped the triple option enough to offset that speed. Dalvin Cook is running wild all over the ACC and anybody else.
Prediction: Florida State: 24 Georgia Tech 14
